The event was arranged by the National Centre for Education. The 1<sup>st<\/sup> place winners of this competition were <strong>Evita Nakti\u0146a<\/strong> and <strong>R\u016bta Rutkupe<\/strong>, students of J\u0113kabpils Agrobusiness College for the work <em>Saimniec\u012b\u0161u centrs<\/em>, Ltd (in English \u2013 Centre of Little Housekeepers) (teacher Valda Kalni\u0146a).<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In total 26 vocational education students participated in this event; they were supported by 18 teachers. 22 works were submitted for the competition, of which 15 were presented to contest committee for evaluation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Business plan competition for Latvian vocational education provides opportunity for the students to assess their knowledge and skills both in preparing business plans and delivering public speech when presenting their work. The winners of first six places will participate in the national skills competition \u201cYoung Professional 2012\u201d that is organized during the international exhibition \u201cSchool 2012\u201d (March 1-4) in Riga.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The competition was supported by the ESF project \u201cThe improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical competences for vocational subject teachers and for supervisors of practical training\u201d (2010-2012) that is implemented by the National Centre for Education.
