{"id":3181,"date":"2019-03-04T14:25:09","date_gmt":"2019-03-04T12:25:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.refernet.lv\/?p=3181"},"modified":"2019-03-20T14:26:44","modified_gmt":"2019-03-20T12:26:44","slug":"the-best-companies-for-implementing-apprenticeship-type-scheme-and-qualification-practice-were-awarded","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/refernet.aic.lv\/?p=3181&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"The best companies for implementing apprenticeship type scheme and qualification practice were awarded"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On 26 February 2019, at the Latvian Railway History Museum, the <strong>Employers\u2019 Confederation of Latvia (ECL) organised an award ceremony \u201cDo and learn \u2013 everything has just begun!\u201d<\/strong> dedicated to honouring best apprenticeship type scheme (nationally called \u201cwork-based learning\u201d) and qualification practice companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Best apprenticeship type scheme companies in 2018: in Kurzeme \u2013 \u201cSkandi motors\u201d, Ltd (Liepaja branch); in Zemgale \u2013 \u201cSporta komplekss Zemgale-V\u201d, Ltd; in Latgale \u2013 \u201cZa\u013c\u0101 sala R\u201d, Ltd; in Vidzeme \u2013 individual merchant \u201cMazais birojs\u201d; in Riga region \u2013 \u201cElizabetes Centrs\u201d Ltd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Best qualification practice companies in 2018: in Kurzeme \u2013 \u201cIMA autoserviss\u201d, Ltd; in Zemgale \u2013 \u201cSedumi\u201d, Ltd; in Latgale \u2013 Daugavpils wagon maintenance point of \u201cLatvijas Dzelzce\u013c\u0161\u201d, SJSC; in Vidzeme \u2013 JSC \u201cValmieras piens\u201d; in Riga region \u2013 JSC \u201cGrindeks\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the cooperation with ELC and active involvement in the project, special acknowledgement was given to such vocational education institutions as: in Vidzeme \u2013 Priekuli Technical School; in Kurzeme \u2013 Liepaja State Technical School; in Zemgale \u2013 Jelgava Technical School; in Latgale \u2013 Daugavpils Technical School of Construction; in Riga \u2013 Riga Technical School of Tourism and Creative Industry and Riga State Technical School. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ECL in cooperation with vocational education institutions and companies has been implementing the ESF project \u201cParticipation of vocational education learners in work-based learning and qualification practice in companies\u201d (2017-2023), to make skills acquired in vocational education more consistent with real employers&#8217; needs and working conditions.
