Lu\u012bze Mihailova (Vocational Education Competency Centre \u201cLiepaja School of Music, Art and Design) was awarded with silver medal in window design. J\u0101nis Ozols (heavy vehicle repair and maintenance, Prieku\u013ci Technical School), Igors B\u016bmanis (information and communication technologies (ICT), Riga Technical College), Ri\u010dards Trofimovs (ICT, Prieku\u013ci Technical School) and Gustavs R\u0101cen\u0101js (web page development, Riga Technical College) were awarded with medals of excellence.<\/p>\n<p>Latvian team representatives Laura Kreivina and El\u012bna Skrind\u017eevska were also given the prestige award \u201cBest of nation\u201d, which is awarded to contestants of each country with the highest score.<\/p>\n<p>The competition was attended by 525 young professionals form 28 countries. Latvia was represented by 12 participants who carried out complex international challenges in ten vocational skills contests.
