{"id":2229,"date":"2016-05-10T13:32:48","date_gmt":"2016-05-10T10:32:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.refernet.lv\/?p=2229"},"modified":"2016-05-10T13:32:48","modified_gmt":"2016-05-10T10:32:48","slug":"from-1st-january-2017-documents-certifying-vocational-education-and-vocational-qualifications-will-include-reference-to-the-corresponding-lqf-level","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/refernet.aic.lv\/?p=2229&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"From 1st January 2017, documents certifying vocational education and vocational qualifications will include reference to the corresponding LQF level"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>On April 5, 2016<\/strong> The Cabinet of Ministers approved the Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No.194 \u201cAmendments to the Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No.451 of June 21, 2005 \u201c<strong>Procedures by which state-recognised documents certifying vocational education and vocational qualification and documents certifying acquisition of a part of an accredited vocational education programme are issued\u201d<\/strong>\u201d. <\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Having regard of the regulations stated in the Section 5, Section 6 of the <a href=\"https:\/\/likumi.lv\/doc.php?id=20244\" title=\"VEL\" target=\"_blank\">Vocational Education Law<\/a> and the Section 25 of the Transitional Provisions, the amendments foresee the reference to the corresponding level of the Latvian Qualifications Framework (LQF) in the documents certifying vocational education and vocational qualification.<\/p>\n<p>The reference to the LQF will be made in parallel to the reference to the relevant Latvian professional qualification level.
